George Lainas

George Lainas serves as the Associate Editor for Human Reproduction Update at Oxford University Press since December 2022, overseeing a leading journal in reproductive health. Lainas holds the position of Scientific Director at Eugonia and is actively involved with the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) in various roles, including as a Senior Deputy and coordinator for the Special Interest Group in Reproductive Endocrinology. Lainas's work focuses on improving IVF practices through the establishment of key performance indicators and guideline development. With extensive clinical experience, Lainas has held positions at Barts Health NHS Trust and Newham University Hospital NHS Trust, among others. Lainas earned a PhD in Reproductive Endocrinology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Doctor of Medicine from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
