Doug Christ, CPCU, has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Doug currently serves as a Senior Principal Product Compliance Analyst at IAT Insurance Group, a position they have held since June 2019. During this time, they introduced the NAIC model market conduct format to AAA, which became the standard model in all states. Prior to this role, Doug held the position of Assistant Vice President and Regional Insurance Underwriting Manager from September 1997 to January 2006. In this role, they oversaw all insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, sales, and agency operations. Doug successfully led AAA Nebraska to double its written premium from $15 million to $30 million between 2001 and 2003.

Doug began their career at the State of Nebraska, Department of Insurance. Doug served as a Market Conduct Examiner from January 1996 to September 1998, and previously as a Property Casualty Analyst from January 1993 to January 1996. In these positions, they reviewed and approved/disapproved rates, rules, and forms for various lines of insurance and assisted in the preparation of examinations for agent licensing.

Doug Christ, CPCU completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1988, they attended Doane University and studied Business Administration until 1989. Later, in 1983, they enrolled at the American Institute for CPCU and obtained their CPCU degree in Insurance, which lasted until 1989. Additionally, in 2006, they pursued further education at The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, where they earned their CIC degree in Insurance from 2006 to 2007.
