Adam Eisman is the owner of Five Ton Monkey, LLC, a design and fabrication shop specializing in props, scenery, and various artistic installations since October 2019. Eisman has served as a Construction Coordinator for film since July 2021, overseeing the construction of environments for feature films such as "Dead for a Dollar" and "Snag." As a member of IATSE Local 480 since 2011, Eisman has contributed as a propmaker and construction fore-person on notable projects including "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs," "Better Call Saul," and "Independence Day: Resurgence." Additionally, Eisman worked as a furniture and architectural woodwork designer/fabricator at AE Design from 1993 to 2016 and was an artist in residence at El Zaguan, focusing on visual and literary arts from 2011 to 2014. Eisman holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, earned between 1985 and 1990.
