Hans-Martin Schulz

Hans-Martin Schulz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at IAV GmbH since April 2009. In this role, Hans-Martin oversees the functional architecture of entire drive trains and manages projects related to electric vehicle controllers for both concept cars and series production, utilizing model-based system engineering and simulation techniques. Prior to IAV GmbH, Hans-Martin co-founded EXTESSY AG, where responsibilities included product strategy and engineering process consulting for clients across rail, automotive, and aerospace sectors. Hans-Martin's early career involved research at Technische Universität Braunschweig, focusing on rail automation and control systems. Educational credentials include a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig, a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université de Bordeaux, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
