Marco Beissmann

Marco Beissmann is a Functional Developer specializing in Fahrerassistenzsysteme and Autonomes Fahren at IAV since April 2022. Previously, Marco held the position of Junior Software Engineer in Embedded Systems at umlaut company, where the Bachelorarbeiten titled "Konzeption und Manipulation eines SPI-Slaves auf einem elektronischen Steuergerät" was developed. Earlier experience includes serving as a Working Student at Robert Bosch GmbH in Automated Driving, where support was provided for model architecture, scripting in Matlab, and documentation using Doxygen. Marco's internship at Mercedes-Benz AG focused on autonomous driving testing, involving model enhancement and testing in Simulink, integration support on hardware-in-the-loop test benches, Matlab S-function development, and safety concept creation for electronic control units. Marco holds a Bachelor of Engineering in technische Informatik from Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences, completed in August 2021.
