Job description

We are seeking a motivated intern/apprentice to join our Network and Infrastructure team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining IT infrastructures. 

 

🎯 What will you do ?

• Oversee the company's network infrastructure across European offices, ensuring smooth operations and top performance. 
• Play an active role in implementing advanced infrastructure and security policies, working alongside security teams to strengthen defenses against emerging threats. 
• Vigilantly monitor network activities, taking proactive steps to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. 
• Provide expert support (level 2/3) to swiftly resolve network incidents, minimizing disruptions and restoring services promptly. 
• Support automation and orchestration efforts to streamline network operations and enhance efficiency, under the guidance of senior team members. 
• Work closely with IT teams and other departments to understand and meet network needs, optimizing efficiency and supporting business objectives. 

🔎 What do you bring?

• Fluent in English for international communication. 
• Familiarity with fundamental network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). 
• Understanding of basic switching and routing concepts. 
• Familiarity with programming/scripting basics (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). 
• Currently pursuing or recently completed an engineering degree or equivalent educational background. 
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems. 
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 
• Communication skills and adeptness in problem-solving.
