Francisco José Somigliana

Francisco José Somigliana has extensive experience in sales and business development roles. Francisco José is currently a Senior Sales Director at iBASIS, where they are responsible for leading the sales and business development team. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Sales & Business Development, Americas at iBASIS, where they created and developed a capable team and implemented effective communication channels within the organization. Francisco José also worked as the Country Manager for the Americas, managing relationships with partners, optimizing revenue and margin, and selling IP telephony services. Before joining iBASIS, Francisco worked as the Argentina, Central America & Caribbean Regional Market Analyst at iBASIS, where they were responsible for telecommunications routing and pricing. Francisco also gained experience in logistics and purchasing roles at NSG Pilkington and Pilkington, respectively.

Francisco José Somigliana has a diverse educational background. Francisco José obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Logistics from the Universidad del Salvador in 2007, focusing on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires', where they earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from 2000 to 2006. Francisco's earlier education includes their high school years at Colegio San Pablo, where they completed their Bachiller degree from 1996 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Francisco José Somigliana has also pursued various certifications. In November 2021, they obtained the Mavenir CPaaS Certification for Sales Professionals from Mavenir. In 2016, they completed the Leadership Development Program from Bentley University. Furthermore, they hold the Business English Certificate Vantage - Council of Europe Level B2, obtained from the University of Cambridge in November 2007, and the Business English Certificate Preliminary - Council of Europe Level B1, obtained from the University of Cambridge in November 2006.
