Eliza V. Gonzalez brings nearly four decades of banking experience to her role as Investment Relations Officer at IBC Bank. In addition to investment relations, Gonzalez is head of various corporate divisions including wire transfer, accounts payable, trust and employee benefits.
Since starting her IBC career in 1980 as a secretary in the accounting department, Gonzalez has served in a number of positions in various departments, giving her a deep and far-reaching understanding of banking from both legal and customer perspectives.
Gonzalez is a past president of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Laredo and currently serves on the board as a lifetime director. She has also served as past president of both the Laredo and Texas chapters of Financial Women International and the Laredo Business and Professional Women's Association. She has been on the boards of both the Girl Scouts South Texas Council and the Webb County Chapter of the American Red Cross. She is also an alumni of the 1996 Leadership Texas class.
Gonzalez and her husband, Javier, have been married since 1984. They have two children and three grandchildren.
