Alejandro MacHo Aroca

Alejandro Macho Aroca has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alejandro currently works at Iberdrola as the Head of Global Cybersecurity - Global Energy Management BISO. Prior to that, they were the Digital Strategy Manager at Global Energy Management (GEM) at Iberdrola, where they focused on energy and trading technology strategy and innovation.

Alejandro also has experience at Fever, where they served as the Global Head of Operations, leading a team of over 50 employees and overseeing various operational areas such as digital payments, internal processes, and customer care.

Additionally, Alejandro has worked at companies such as Deloitte as an Experienced Senior Consultant, Microsoft as an MSP - UCoach - Windows & Xbox Ambassador, and iLoveScience as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Outside of their corporate roles, Alejandro has also been involved in academia as a Program Director at Esade and an External Master Professor - Collaborator at D-IEEC at UNED. Alejandro has also founded and served as President of the Nu Alpha Chapter of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu, an honor society for professionals and university students in the field of engineering.

Alejandro Macho Aroca holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., which they completed from 2016 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they obtained a Master's degree in Electronics from the same institution. Alejandro also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, which they earned from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, Alejandro has pursued further certifications in Strategic Execution from IMD and Project Management from Cornell University. Alejandro has also obtained certifications in Allegro | Upstream Oil & Gas Associate Certification from Allegro Development Corporation, IBM B2B Integration Technical Professional v1 from IBM, TOEIC - 3.5 (High Advanced, 870) from TOEIC® Program, Competitive Strategy from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and Lean Manufacturing from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
