Álvaro Anaya Rojas

Álvaro Anaya Rojas has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and engineering. Álvaro started their career at Isolux ingenieria where they served as a Jefe de proyectos, overseeing the automation and commissioning of hydroelectric power plants in Morocco and the telecontrol infrastructure in El Puerto de Santa Maria. Álvaro then joined Isdefe as a Senior Systems Engineer before moving on to everis Aeroespacial, Defensa y Seguridad where they worked as an ICS/OT Cybersecurity Project Leader. Following that, Álvaro worked at OYLO Trust Engineering as an ICS/OT Business Development Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Cyber Security - Smart Solutions at Iberdrola. Throughout their career, Álvaro has demonstrated expertise in project management, automation, telecontrol, and cyber security.

Álvaro Anaya Rojas has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad de Sevilla, with a focus on Electronics. Álvaro also holds a Diploma in Digital Communications and Electronics from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité in Paris. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in cybersecurity, including CCI nivel negro from the CCI Industrial Cybersecurity Center, Certificate 1: ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist (CFS) from the International Society of Automation (ISA), Certificate 2: ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Specialist (CRAS) also from ISA, and a Nozomi Networks certification.
