Alicia Parra

Alicia Parra has served as a full-time academic director in the Health Department at Universidad Iberoamericana since January 2010, where responsibilities include teaching courses in Food, Clinical Nutrition, and specialized workshops in Obesity and Comorbidities. Prior experience includes working as an independent consultant in Clinical Nutrition at Hospital Angeles del Pedregal from January 1999 to January 2012 and participating in external consultations at the Endocrinology Department of the Instituto Nacional de Cardiología "Ignacio Chávez" from July 1987 to July 1999. Alicia Parra holds various academic credentials including a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences, a Ph.D. in Human Development Sciences, and multiple diplomas in various fields from Universidad Iberoamericana and other institutions, complemented by a Master's degree in the History of Thought from Universidad Panamericana.
