Mohammed Obaidullah, PhD

Dr. Mohammed Obaidullah is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of Islamic finance and economics. Currently serving as President Director at Netversity International since December 2022, Dr. Obaidullah is focused on developing over 50 certification programs for the Halal ecosystem. Additionally, Dr. Obaidullah holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Manipal GlobalNxt University since February 2023 and has been the Chairman of IBF Net Group since January 1999. Previously, Dr. Obaidullah worked as Lead Research Economist at the Islamic Development Bank Institute from November 2006 to December 2022 and served as a Yayasan Tun Ismail Mohamed Berdafter Chair Professor of Islamic Finance at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia in 2014-2015. Dr. Obaidullah has held various associate professorships at notable institutions, including King AbdulAziz University and International Islamic University Malaysia, and has extensive teaching experience at Xavier Institute of Management.
