Richard Lowe

Richard Lowe is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in data management and analytics within the banking and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Group Chief Data Officer at United Overseas Bank Limited since July 2015, Richard leads the data and analytics strategies across the organization. Concurrently, Richard is a member of the IBFSG Future Enabled Skills Working Group and has held significant leadership roles in various industry groups, including Chairman of the ASEAN Bankers Association Interoperable Data Taskforce and the Standing Committee for Data Management at the Association of Banks in Singapore. Previously, Richard held numerous influential positions at Commonwealth Bank, where responsibilities spanned business intelligence, data solutions, and marketing data management. Richard holds a Master’s in IT from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor’s in International Business from Griffith University.
