Sarah N. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to 2022. Sarah began their career as an Americorps Member and Social Media Ambassador for City Year Seattle/King County in 2014. In 2015, they became a Barista and Barista Trainer for Starbucks. In 2016, they took on the role of Assistant Manager and Coffee Roaster for Tin Umbrella Coffee. From 2017 to 2019, they held various positions including UW Chapter President for Beyond the Bomb, Photographer for the University of Washington Study Abroad Office, and Task Force Editor and Policy Analyst for the University of Washington, Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. In 2020, Sarah N. became an Administrative Assistant for the International Visitor Leadership Program and Cybersecurity, Technology & Innovation for CRDF Global. Currently, they are an Operations/Communications Associate for IBI - International Business Initiatives, where they support the start-up and close-out of USAID-funded activities in Africa, Eurasia, and South America.
Sarah N. attended Brooke Point High School from 2009 to 2013 and obtained an International Baccalaureate. Sarah then attended the University of Washington from 2016 to 2019, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in International/Global Studies. Sarah also obtained a Notary Public certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia in August 2022.
