Denis Munene

Denis Munene is a Senior ESG Consultant at IBIS Consulting with experience in environmental and social governance since November 2018. Previously, Denis worked at Kenya Electricity Generating Company as an Environment, Quality, Health & Safety Graduate Trainee, where responsibilities included conducting Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, environmental audits, and monitoring environmental conditions at various sites. Notable early career roles include serving as a Voter Registration Clerk for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and teaching Biology and Mathematics at Gakwegori Secondary School, where overall student performance improved. Denis holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Law from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Kenyatta University.
