Marc Sandy Block is a writer and former patent counsel with extensive experience in intellectual property matters, particularly in policy, technical standards, and bankruptcy. Currently, Marc is focused on publishing a novel titled "SMART(er) (wo)MEN," exploring themes of love, loss, and morality. Previously, Marc managed multiple IP departments at IBM Corporation, served on the Board and as President of the International Intellectual Property Society, and commanded a reserve Special Forces Signal Company. Marc holds a JD in Patents and Intellectual Property from The George Washington University Law School and a BSEE from Lehigh University.
