Miles Crabill

Miles Crabill is an experienced security engineer currently serving as a Staff Security Engineer in HashiCorp Identity Security at IBM since June 2025. Prior to this role, Miles held positions at HashiCorp where responsibilities included working on the internal IAM system, Passport, and developing a secure signing service that enhanced operational security and auditability. Previous roles include Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for Biden for President, evaluating and hardening AWS environments, and multiple engineering positions at Mozilla, where contributions ranged from continuous integration systems to infrastructure as code solutions. Miles also has experience as an intern at Sandia National Laboratories and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Lewis & Clark College.
