Pamela Belem

Pamela Belem is an experienced professional specializing in diversity and inclusion initiatives within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator at PETRONAS since January 2023, Pamela develops and supports DEI workshops, seminars, and training sessions. In addition, Pamela holds a leadership role at IBP - Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo e Gás as the Coordinator of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and serves as the Gender Equality Coordinator Group, focusing on promoting gender and racial equality in the industry. Prior to these roles, Pamela was the Executive Assistant to the Upstream CFO at ExxonMobil, where responsibilities included event planning and employee engagement, while also acting as the Brazil Chair of an affinity group for racial diversity. Pamela’s earlier experience includes an Executive Assistant position at Globo. Educational credentials include a Pós-graduação Lato Sensu in Human Rights from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul and a Bachelor’s degree in Archival Science from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
