Abhay Prabhakar Havaldar

Abhay Havaldar is a Partner at Mentorcap Management Private Limited and has previously served as an Advisory Director of General Atlantic LLC. Mr. Havaldar worked at GA since 2002 and helped establish GA’s offices in India & Singapore in 2002 & 2011 respectively. He also serves as a Director on the board the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. Having started his career with the Tata Group and since holding operating management responsibilities at Tata Unisys/ Infotech (now TCS) and HCL Infosystems, Mr. Havaldar has been an investor in Indian businesses since 1996, as a partner at Draper International and Connect Capital. He is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) and a Board member of Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE). Mr. Havaldar holds a BE (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Bombay and a Masters in management degree from the Sloan Fellow program at the London Business School.
