Walter de Matteo

Walter De Matteo currently serves as the Head of Pharmaceutical Clusters Manufacturing and Head of Quality Control at IBSA Group, overseeing the quality control department across all Swiss facilities and ensuring regulatory compliance. De Matteo has a significant history with the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), having held multiple leadership roles including Past President and Science Advisory Board Member. Previously, at IBSA sa, De Matteo was responsible for microbiological operations and served as the primary microbiology contact during regulatory inspections. A graduate of Università degli Studi di Milano with a degree in Biological Science and endowed with extensive experience in quality control and microbiology, De Matteo has contributed to various roles in the pharmaceutical industry since 1994.
