Deepthi Achuthavarier

Deepthi Achuthavarier is a Program Manager and Contract Lead at IBSS since December 2022, providing technical and management support at NOAA/NWS/OSTI's Modeling Program Division. Prior to this, Deepthi worked at STC and led successful workshops for engaging NWS forecasters into UFS model development. Deepthi also served as an Atmospheric Scientist at INNOVIM, engaging with partners at FAA in developing a wind forecast product. With a background in climate research and data analysis, Deepthi has a PhD in Climate Dynamics from George Mason University and has presented research at national and international conferences.
