Jin Tran

Jin Tran has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and support. They have worked as a Cloud Engineer at IBSS since 2021. Prior to that, they were a NOAA Mission IT Specialist at ECS from 2019 to 2021. From 2018 to 2019, they served as a System Administrator at ActioNet, Inc. and from 2017 to 2019, they worked as a NOAA Helpdesk Technician at Earth Resources Technology, Inc. (ERT, Inc.). Before that, from 2015 to 2017, Jin was a NOAA Help Desk Specialist at Systems Integration and Development, Inc (SID). They also have experience as a Senior Helpdesk Analyst at the University of Maryland University College from 2014 to 2015, and as an IT Helpdesk Analyst at Randstad Technologies US from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, Jin worked as an IT Business Support at Sengroup Solutions, LLC from 2011 to 2013, an IT Technician at Staples from 2012 to 2013, and in client support at Data Networks from 2011 to 2011. Jin has gained expertise in various technical support roles and has shown the ability to adapt and learn new tasks.

Jin Tran completed an Associate's degree in General Studies at Montgomery College from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Project Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014.

In terms of certifications, Jin obtained the CompTIA A+ ce certification from CompTIA in December 2016. They also obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce certification in February 2017. Furthermore, they achieved the CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) Certification in June 2019. Apart from these, Jin earned the CompTIA Systems Support Specialist – CSSS Stackable Certification in June 2019. Recently, in April 2021, they obtained the Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft.
