Kev Botwood

Kev Botwood currently serves as the Academy Assistant Coach at Wakefield Trinity since October 2024 and as the Engineering Manager at Ibstock Futures since September 2023. Prior roles included Maintenance Manager at Kingspan Insulation UK from April 2021 to August 2023 and at Kautex Textron from April 2018 to April 2021, responsible for planning and executing PPM and defect repairs with a focus on team oversight. Earlier experience includes a contract position as a Multi-skilled Engineer at Bombardier Transportation UK in early 2018, performing electrical and mechanical fault finding. Kev Botwood's career began in the Royal Navy, where from January 2004 to January 2018, the role of Engineering Supervisor was undertaken, enhancing leadership skills while maintaining complex military equipment. Education includes a Foundation degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and GCSEs from St. Michael's College Leeds.
