Anders Bärlund

Anders Bärlund is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategy and business development within the retail sector. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at ICA Gruppen since October 2019, Anders is responsible for group strategy, M&A, and the digital agenda, while also being a member of the Group Executive Management Team and the board of several subsidiaries. In addition, Anders is the founder and coach at Buildaskill.co, providing coaching services since February 2022. Prior to these roles, Anders spent over 15 years at McKinsey & Company, culminating in the position of Expert Partner, where leadership was provided for retail transformations and digital analytics across the Asia Pacific. Anders holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University and also studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
