Daniel Ekblom

Daniel Ekblom has a diverse range of work experience. Daniel has held various roles in different companies, starting with their role as a Customer Service Support at Schenker in 2003. From there, they worked as a Consultant at Pullmax AB and Frölunda Specialist Hospital in 2006 and 2007 respectively. Daniel then interned at Capgemini before becoming a Consultant at Chalmers Teknologkonsulter AB, where they also served as a Consultant. Daniel later worked as a Management Consultant at Arthur D. Little. In 2009, they joined ICA, starting as a Business Analyst before becoming a Strategic Purchasing Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Sourcing Manager. In 2016, they joined ICA Sverige AB as a Supply Chain Finance Manager and later became the Purchasing & Category Manager for Indirect Material and Services. In 2019, Daniel joined ICA Gruppen as a Team lead for ICA Group Sourcing and then became the Team lead for ICA Group Sourcing Development. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for leading teams, improving payment terms, increasing sourcing synergies, negotiating savings, and developing supply chain strategies.

Daniel Ekblom obtained their M.Sc in Operations Management from Chalmers University of Technology from 2002 to 2008. Daniel also earned a B.Sc in Financial Economics from the University of Gothenburg from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Automation Essentials, Building Bot Tasks with RPA Express, Introduction to RPA Express, and Power User Basics from Automation Academy by WorkFusion. Daniel also has a certification in Change Management from Prosci.
