Senior Software Architect at iCAD

Harlan Romsdahl is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in developing advanced technologies for medical imaging. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect at iCAD since October 2019, Romsdahl specializes in deep learning models and image processing for medical image detection and segmentation. Prior to iCAD, Romsdahl was the CEO of Romsdahl Engineering, focusing on cancer detection through innovative imaging techniques. Romsdahl also held significant roles at Fujifilm Medical Systems USA, U-Systems, Inc., R2 Technology, and Lockheed Missiles & Space Company, where contributions included pioneering cancer detection systems and developing high-performance workstations. Academically, Romsdahl pursued graduate work in Electrical Engineering at Santa Clara University and earned a BS in Applied Physics & Energy Resource Engineering from Humboldt State University.
