Marta Filizola

Marta Filizola is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as the Dean of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and a Professor of Pharmacological Sciences and Neuroscience at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since July 2007. Prior to this role, Marta held various academic positions at Weill Cornell Medical College and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Marta's early career included a position as a Staff Scientist at the Molecular Research Institute, specializing in chemoinformatics, drug discovery, and rational drug design. Marta holds a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from II Universita' degli Studi di Napoli and has both an M.S. and a B.S. in Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
