Rampradeep Samiappan

Rampradeep Samiappan currently serves as a Core Scientist in Electron Microscopy at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since April 2025. Previously, Rampradeep held the position of Application Manager for EM LifeScience at Thermo Fisher Scientific from August 2023 to April 2025, and served as a Senior Scientist at Vironova Bioanalytics AB from June 2018 to August 2023. Rampradeep also completed a Doctoral Candidate program at Karolinska Institutet, where research focused on the interaction of Na,K-ATPase with its partners using nanodisc technology for membrane protein analysis from May 2012 to May 2018. Rampradeep began academic training with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from SRM IST Chennai (2004-2008), followed by a Master's degree in Biotechnology from SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (2010-2012).
