Marcia Horn, JD, serves as the President and CEO of the International Cancer Advocacy Network (ICAN) since February 1997, leading a dedicated team and a global network of over 300 volunteers to focus on patient navigation, molecular profiling, clinical trials, health equity, and public policy advocacy. In addition, Marcia Horn is the Chair of the Biomarker Collaborative, an organization supporting patients with actionable biomarkers in lung cancer and other tumor types, and has been the Executive Director of the Exon 20 Group since February 2017, facilitating an international coalition addressing exon 20 insertion mutations across various cancers. Prior legal experience includes serving as an Attorney and Of Counsel in commercial litigation from October 1980 to February 1997, alongside previous roles at the Arizona Cancer Research Foundation. Marcia Horn holds a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Political Science from Stanford University.
