Claudio Marques

Claudio Marques has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. Claudio started their career as a Teacher at Instituto Superior Miguel Torga in 2013. From there, they joined OneSource, Consultoria Informática Lda in 2013 as a Researcher and Network System Administrator, where they were responsible for hardware maintenance, network security, and server operations. Their expertise includes cloud deployments, virtualization management, and network monitoring.

In 2015, Claudio Marques joined Feedzai as a Network System Administrator, where they managed network systems and ensured their smooth operation until 2018. Claudio then joined CRITICAL Software as the Continuous Delivery & DevOps team leader, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of DevOps practices.

In 2019, they joined Talkdesk as a DevOps/Senior SRE, where their primary focus was on implementing Continuous Delivery best practices and automation. As a team lead, they ensured that the team maintained a strong focus on automation to benefit both the development teams and customer experience.

Currently, Claudio Marques holds the position of Cloud Engineer - Vice President at iCapital, starting in 2022.

Claudio Marques obtained a Licentiate degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Instituto Superior Miguel Torga, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in December 2022, DevOps with Ops Manager (OF550) from MongoDB in September 2022, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in May 2022, and Qualified trainer from IEFP in August 2011. Claudio also has certifications in AWS Global Infrastructure from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS VPC Essentials from Linux Academy, although the specific months and years of these certifications are unknown.
