Tung Dang

Tung Dang has a diverse range of work experience in the field of quantitative engineering and finance. They are currently working as an Analyst and Quantitative Engineer at iCapital, starting from August 2022. Prior to that, Tung worked at SIMON Markets LLC as a Quantitative Engineer from June 2022 to August 2022, and as a Quantitative Engineer Intern from February 2022 to May 2022. They also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at New York University from March 2021 to December 2021. Additionally, Tung had an internship as a Quantitative Risk Intern at Numerix from August 2021 to September 2021. Tung's earlier experience includes working as a Business Analyst at FiinGroup JSC from February 2020 to July 2020, and as a Derivatives Specialist at BIDV Securities (BSC) from November 2017 to January 2019.

Tung Dang completed a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from New York University between 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Banking and International Finance from Foreign Trade University, which they completed from 2013 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Tung Dang has earned several certifications. Tung obtained the Series 63, Series 7, and SIE certifications from FINRA in November 2022, October 2022, and September 2022, respectively. Tung also completed the "Functional Program Design in Scala" and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" courses on Coursera in June 2022 and February 2022, respectively. Furthermore, they have passed the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Level I exam conducted by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in January 2022. In 2021, Tung Dang completed the "Python for Finance with Intro to Data Science" course from QUANTNET INC and the "C++ Programming for Financial Engineering" course, also from QUANTNET INC. Tung obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP in August 2020. Additionally, they completed the "Excel/VBA for Creative Problem Solving, Part 2" course on Coursera in February 2019. Lastly, they passed the CFA Level II exam conducted by the CFA Institute in 2017, although the specific month is unknown.
