Rich Truitt

Rich Truitt has extensive experience in the building and regulatory sectors, currently serving as the Director and Building Official for Harford County Government since August 1994. Rich's previous roles within the same organization include Deputy Director of DILP, Chief Building Inspector, and Plans Reviewer/Inspector. Since December 2017, Rich has also been a member of the Board of Managers for ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES). Additionally, Rich served on the Board of Directors for the International Code Council from November 2011 to October 2017. Rich completed education at The John Carroll High School from 1982 to 1985.
