Hamad al-Hajri

Hamad Al-Hajri is an experienced professional currently serving as Executive Director at the Islamic Development Bank since May 2022 and as Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Finance Qatar, where responsibilities also include leading American Affairs. Previous roles include Editor at the Harvard Journal of Middle Eastern Politics and Policy, and various positions in the Ministry of Education and Qatar Foundation, including Senior Policy Analyst and Research Intern. Hamad Al-Hajri holds a Master’s degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University, complemented by a Summer Programme in International Affairs and Multilateral Governance at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
