Jay Almblad is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and project management within the ice machine and lighting industries. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Ice-O-Matic since September 2020, Jay has previously held positions such as Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Development Engineer at the same company. Other notable roles include Designer and Project Manager at 3D ID LLC and New Product Development Engineer III at Nulite Lighting. Jay's career began with roles at Scotsman Ice Systems and Enodis, showcasing a solid foundation in design engineering. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and has a diverse educational background that includes studies at the University of Illinois Chicago and College of Lake County.
