Roger Viney

Roger Viney has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Roger is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at ICE Pharma, where they are responsible for the commercial activities of the company. Prior to this, they worked at Hovione, where they held positions such as Senior Director, Sales and Business Development Director, and Sales and Marketing Director. Before joining Hovione, they worked at Rhodia as Global Business Director, Marketing and Innovation Director, International Key Account Manager, and Sales Manager. Roger also worked at Rhône-Poulenc as a Technical Manager and Chemist.

Roger Viney obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from The University of Manchester in 1989. Roger then pursued a Master's Degree in Polymer Science from the same institution, completing it in 1990. Roger continued their education at The University of Manchester and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Polymer Science in 1994. In 2021, they obtained the certification of Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
