David Franklin is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in network operations and engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer in WAN Engineering at ICE since August 2016, David designs and deploys solutions for the ICE global backbone network. Previously, as a Manager of Network Operations Engineering at ICE, David led a team of 15 engineers responsible for the operational health of production networks. Prior roles include Senior Network Engineer positions at Interactive Data and PEAK6 Investments LP, where David was pivotal in incident resolution and network architecture. With a strong foundation in analyzing and supporting corporate trading networks, David's career also encompasses roles in network architecture, analysis, and pre-sales engineering across various organizations. David holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northern Illinois University.
