Carol Dekkers

Carol Dekkers is the owner and founder of Quality Plus Technologies, Inc., established in June 1994, focusing on integrating quality into software development. As an active consultant and educator, Carol secured the title of 2022 Educator of the Year from the International Cost Estimating & Analysis Association, while also serving as the lead author for the Software Cost Estimating Body of Knowledge. Additionally, Carol has held various influential roles, including President Emeritus of the International Function Point Users Group and an international expert for the U.S. at ISO/IEC JTC1 SC7. With extensive experience as a keynote presenter and workshop instructor at global conferences, Carol has contributed to advancements in software measurement, estimation, and project management. Educational credentials include a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
