Aymeric Mainvis serves as the SAR Analytics R&D Team Lead and SAR Remote Sensing Engineer at ICEYE since February 2022, focusing on SAR data processing and machine learning within the ICEYE Wildfire Insights project. Prior to this, Aymeric Mainvis worked as a Research Engineer at ONERA, contributing to projects for the European Space Agency and the French Space Agency, with expertise in ionospheric scintillation and radar sea clutter. Aymeric Mainvis holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics for Electromagnetics from ISAE-SUPAERO, where research involved modeling electromagnetic wave scattering and enhancing oil spill detection using SAR systems. Furthermore, Aymeric Mainvis has held teaching roles in signal processing and radar at various institutions, and previous experience as an RF Engineer at DIGINEXT focused on HF phased array radar analysis and measurement.
