Melina Koukou is an accomplished Flight Dynamics Engineer currently employed at ICEYE since October 2018, where responsibilities have included designing autonomous phase maneuvers for a synthetic aperture radar satellite constellation and earlier roles as a Junior Flight Dynamics Engineer and Master Thesis Student. Melina co-founded BEAM (Beyond Earth Aristotle Missions) at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in April 2018, promoting space technology among students. Notable leadership experience includes serving as Team Leader for the SHADE project within BEAM, focusing on the development of a helix antenna deployment mechanism for a stratospheric balloon experiment. Previous roles include engineering positions with the Aristotle University Racing Team Electric and the Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team, as well as participation in a CubeSat training program with the European Space Agency. Melina is currently pursuing dual master's degrees in Electronics and Nanotechnology at Aalto University and Business Administration at Neapolis University Pafos, following an MEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
