Adriana Quiroga

Adriana Quiroga is an experienced professional in social work and community advocacy, currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work and a Macro Intern at the Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Since January 2018, Adriana has played a key role as a Policy & Government Affairs Strategist at RAICES, a nonprofit dedicated to providing legal services and advocacy for underserved immigrant communities. Previous roles include community organizer and paralegal at RAICES, as well as a social work intern at the UT Children's Rights Clinic and the International Justice Mission, where important work was done to protect vulnerable populations against violence. Adriana's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from Rhodes College.
