Suzanne Smith-Guntlow

Suzanne Smith-Guntlow is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Superintendent at Ichabod Crane Central School District since July 2020, and previously held roles including Assistant Superintendent and Principal of Curriculum and Instruction. With a background in teaching and administration, Suzanne has facilitated professional development for K-12 staff, overseen assessment processes, managed literacy programs, and supported educational initiatives across multiple districts. Educational qualifications include advanced certificates in School District Leadership and School Building Leadership, as well as a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the College of Saint Rose. Prior to education, Suzanne held a supervisory position in liability at Travelers Insurance Company.
