Charles Manhardt, PhD has over a decade of work experience in the field of research. In 2019, they began working as a Research Scientist at Ichor Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to this, they were an Application Specialist at Xstrahl from 2018. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Doctoral Researcher at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. From 2008 to 2012, they were a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at SUNY Albany, where they taught microbiology and general biology labs while also working in a developmental biology lab studying salivary gland branching morphogenesis. In 2007, they worked as a Research Assistant at Gen*NY*Sis center for excellence in cancer genomics, where they used E. coli gene knockout libraries to identify genes required for survival after DNA damaging treatments.

Charles Manhardt, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University at Buffalo in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2011. Charles Manhardt, PhD also obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2008.
