Principal Security Architect at iCIMS

Axel Morlotte has a strong background in IT security and compliance. Axel is currently working as a Principal IT Security Engineer at iCIMS, where they report directly to the CISO and Manager of Information Security. In this role, they advise on workstation and server MDM configuration and oversees endpoint and infrastructure health. Prior to this, Axel worked at Pax8 as a Security and Compliance Engineer, reporting to the CISO. Axel was responsible for network mapping and inventory, managing MDM and RRM, and conducting phishing campaigns. Axel also served as a Security Specialist at Pax8, reporting to the Director of IT, where they oversaw pentesting efforts and educated the workforce on malicious email patterns. Before joining Pax8, Axel worked as an IT Consultant at Chipotle Mexican Grill, providing technical expertise for the Second Makeline project. Axel performed troubleshooting, setup, and configuration of networking hardware and cabling. Axel also worked at Comcast as a Security Assurance Tier III Senior Consultant, where they provided network security support, mitigated DDoS attacks, and performed phone switch fraud mitigation. Axel also worked as a Security Assurance Tier II Consultant at Comcast, ensuring data loss prevention and monitoring access control lists.

Axel Morlotte completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Information Technology Security from Western Governors University from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering from Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2011 to 2014.
