Carrie Streed

Carrie Streed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carrie started their career as a Fire Controlman in the US Navy, where they operated, maintained, and repaired shipboard weapon systems. After leaving the Navy, they worked as a Digital Media Intern at ICED Media and later as a Digital Media Manager at HomeTeam Property Management. Carrie then took on the role of Business Insights Intern at Time Inc. and E-Commerce Coordinator at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. Carrie further enhanced their skills by completing a Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly. Following this, they worked at Jibe (Acquired by iCIMS) as an Associate Front-End Engineer and later as an Associate Software Engineer, where they developed customized career sites for Fortune 500 clients. Currently, they are employed at iCIMS as a Senior Software Engineer.

Carrie Streed attended Southwestern College, where they completed an Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in Math & Science. Carrie then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Direct & Interactive Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, Carrie enrolled in General Assembly's Web Development Immersive program, specializing in Full Stack Web Development. Their education at General Assembly is ongoing, with no specified end year provided.
