Kristy S. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In their most recent position as an Event Marketing Specialist at iCIMS, they were responsible for developing and managing event strategies for trade shows, executive events, and networking events. Kristy collaborated with team leaders and executives to create cohesive executions that built the brand and drove demand. Additionally, they coordinated with third-party vendors to manage tradeshow exhibit booth design and onsite event services. Kristy also handled event cost projections, budget management, and financial tracking.

Prior to joining iCIMS, Kristy worked as a Conference Meeting Planner at the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA). In this role, they successfully managed a million-dollar annual conference budget and collaborated with the Marketing team to drive better results through digital marketing strategies. Kristy also handled conference operations for eight conferences a year, including facility selection, contract negotiation, and audiovisual service arrangements.

Before their role at NCACPA, Kristy gained experience as a Special Event Coordinator at When in White wedding planning.

Kristy S. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from North Carolina State University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Wake Technical Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they earned their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Associates in Arts. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Cvent Mobile Event App from Cvent in July 2020.
