Carlos Perez has a diverse work history, with experience in various roles and industries. Carlos is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at iClassPro - Class Management Software, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, Carlos served as the Director of Information Technology at Goldfish Swim School Franchising, LLC from October 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Goldfish Swim School, Carlos worked as the Chief Information Officer at Wayne County Michigan from September 2016 to June 2021. Carlos also held the role of Team Leader - Systems Engineering at Quicken Loans from May 2012 to September 2016.

Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications from SUNY Polytechnic Institute from 2001 to 2003. Carlos also holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from SUNY Orange, which they earned from 1999 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Carlos has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. Carlos holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², which they achieved in August 2022. Alongside that, they also obtained the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)² in the same month and year. Carlos further expanded their knowledge by achieving the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2021.

Carlos has also obtained multiple certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification, CompTIA Security+ Certification, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification, CompTIA Network+ Certification, and CompTIA A+ Certification.
