Cara Caulkins has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Cara began their career in 2005 at Shopbop.com, where they worked in the operations team and gained insights into marketing and operating strategies. In 2007, they worked as a staff writer for Clubline Chicago Magazine, covering topics such as restaurant and bar reviews and local fashion/retailers.

Cara then transitioned to Weber Shandwick, where they started as an intern and worked their way up to an Account Executive. Cara'sresponsibilities included researching, pitching stories and ideas to media, and planning and coordinating events. Cara also pioneered social media outreach for the accounts they managed.

From 2008 to 2012, Cara worked at Marina Maher Communications as an Account Supervisor. Specializing in beauty public relations, they managed event management and coordination, media relations, and initiative strategy and execution. Cara developed expertise in social media outreach and makeup artistry relations, working with clients such as CoverGirl cosmetics.

In 2013, Cara joined FGF Brands as the Public Relations Director for Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads. In this role, they reported directly to the Chief Marketing Officer/General Manager and handled all day-to-day public relations activities, including strategic planning for the brand.

Cara then established their own communications firm, Cara Caulkins Communications, in 2016, where they served as the Founder. Providing strategic communications counsel, they worked closely with clients to develop and execute effective communication strategies.

In 2017, Cara joined Bumble as the Community Marketing Manager, where they represented the brand as a brand ambassador in Austin, TX. Cara planned and executed monthly local events, supported local public relations and marketing initiatives, and contributed to the growth of Bumble's presence in the Texas market.

Most recently, in 2021, Cara joined ICON as the Director of Public Relations and Events. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing public relations activities and event management for the company.

Cara Caulkins attended American Intercontinental University, where they studied Fashion Marketing. Cara also attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Retail Business.
