Cody Bressler

Principal Mechanical Engineer at ICON

Cody Bressler has extensive work experience in engineering and research. Cody is currently employed at ICON as a Principal Mechanical Engineer, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ICON as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from February 2022 to March 2023. Before joining ICON, Cody worked at Southwest Research Institute, where they held various roles, including Senior Research Engineer from October 2020 to December 2021, Research Engineer from August 2018 to October 2020, and Engineer from November 2015 to August 2018. Cody started their career at Southwest Research Institute as a Student Engineer from June 2014 to November 2015.

Cody also gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineer for the Rose Hulman Robotics Team from September 2013 to September 2015. Cody was elected to a team lead position in the Aerial Robotics team and achieved significant improvements in team performance. Additionally, they worked as a Private Tutor, providing one-on-one tutoring in various subjects, including college-level chemistry, from July 2011 to August 2013.

Furthermore, Cody participated in research projects at Penn State University, including a Honors Project in Engineering Mechanics where they worked as a Researcher from January 2013 to April 2013. Cody also worked as a Programmer for a video game project at Penn State from September 2012 to December 2012.

Cody has demonstrated leadership skills as a Project Manager for Rose Hulman Capstone Design, where they managed a team of four students in designing a product for a client in the restaurant industry from September 2014 to May 2015. Cody also served as a Design Team Lead for a water distillation unit project at Penn State Engineering Design Project from September 2011 to December 2011.

Additionally, Cody volunteered as a Puppy Raiser for The Seeing Eye from March 2008 to May 2012, and as a Volunteer for Representative Bryan Cutler from July 2009 to August 2011.

Cody Bressler pursued their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Cody first attended Penn State University from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Later, they enrolled at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015, where they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
