Felipe Cybis Pereira

Research Engineer at ICONEUS

Felipe Cybis Pereira is a PhD candidate at Physics for Medicine Paris, focusing on freely-moving rats and functional ultrasound imaging, expected to complete the program by the first semester of 2025 under the guidance of Mickaël Tanter and Sophie Pezet. Currently serving as a Research Engineer at ICONEUS since September 2021, Felipe previously held positions as a Research Intern in the Physics for Medicine lab at ESPCI Paris and at Rogulja Lab at Harvard Medical School, where research on sleep deprivation in fruit flies was conducted. Earlier experience includes an R&D internship at ICONEUS, contributing to the development of portable ultrafast ultrasound devices, and scientific initiation internships in materials and corrosion at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and modeling at SINMEC. Felipe holds a Master of Science in Neuroscience from PSL Research University and an engineering degree in Biotechnology from ESPCI Paris, along with a Chemical Engineering degree from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
