Michael Denoon-Slater has over twenty years of experience in the financial sector. Michael started their career as an Investment Analyst at NatWest Securities Asia Limited, where they analyzed utility, property, construction, and technology sectors in Hong Kong and China. Michael then joined Regent Securities Kazakhstan as the Head of Research, specializing in Central Asian equity research and managing a team of local researchers.

In 1998, Denoon-Slater became a Salesman for Pan-European cash equity markets, where they developed and managed Scottish and Irish asset manager accounts, eventually building a top 3 franchise within 18 months.

Michael later became the Managing Director and Owner of Mandarina Trading Company, where they successfully managed a high-end fashion shoe brand by overseeing product development, client relationship development, marketing, and daily operations management.

Denoon-Slater then transitioned into the asset management industry, serving as the Head of Global Business Development, Sales, and Investor Relations for Boyer Allan. In this role, they were responsible for global asset raising, marketing, and investor relationship services for various absolute return and long-only equity strategies.

Michael went on to work at Citi as the Director of Prime Finance Sales/Cap Intro, where they focused on prime finance sales to EMEA and global hedge funds and provided support to managers in presentation mentoring, asset raising, and introductions to European investors.

Denoon-Slater then joined Clareville Capital as the Head of Business Development, Marketing, and Investor Relations, where they implemented a wide-reaching marketing plan, optimized CRM systems, and created a digital enablement strategy.

Michael later joined CIAM as the Head of UK, North America, and Asia Sales, Investor Relations, and Business Development. During their time at CIAM, they specialized in asset raising, investor relations, and marketing for various absolute return strategies across Europe, Asia, and North America, particularly focusing on the Family, E&F, and SWF space.

Currently, Denoon-Slater is working at Strathspey Partners as the CEO, where they provide cost-effective and comprehensive business development solutions, including sales and marketing, capital introductions, and CRM optimization for hedge funds and asset managers.

In the future, they will be joining iConnections as the APAC Strategic Partnerships role.

Michael Denoon-Slater attended Robert Gordon's College from 1981 to 1987. Following this, they enrolled at BRNC Dartmouth for the academic year 1988-1989. No degree or field of study information is provided for either institution.
